When designing the Cozy Charlotte shorts, we listened carefully to what women actually wanted rather than what the industry assumed they needed. One complaint surfaced repeatedly in our research: uncomfortable moisture throughout a busy day.
The Problem We Solved
"I want versatile shorts I can wear around the house, to work, or while doing light pilates without having to change," explained one participant in our research. Women wanted underwear that could transition seamlessly between activities whilst maintaining freshness all day.
Even premium underwear brands weren't properly addressing this fundamental issue. We saw an opportunity to create something genuinely different.
Our Triple-Layer Solution
Rather than accepting the industry standard of single-layer gussets, we engineered a sophisticated three-layer system for the Cozy Charlotte:
Layer 1: Comfort Interface
The top layer against your skin is crafted from premium Austrian Micromodal jersey. This luxuriously soft material wicks moisture away from the body whilst providing a gentle touch against sensitive areas.
Layer 2: Freshness Core
The middle layer utilises bamboo jersey's natural antimicrobial properties. This sustainable material inhibits bacterial growth—the primary cause of unwanted odours—whilst providing additional absorption capacity to keep you feeling dry throughout the day.
Layer 3: Protective Backing
The final outer layer, made from either Micromodal or our ECONYL® Regenerated Nylon, provides a protective barrier that prevents any moisture from transferring to your outer clothing.
